LG UK & USA have announced that the company's G1 & Z1 flagship OLED TVs are now covered by a 5-year panel warranty from the date of retail purchase, which includes 1-year parts and labour, and free-of-charge panel service from years 2 to 5.

The big question is of course OLED burn-in or screenburn will be covered by this warranty. We asked LG UK, and received a reply.

The OLED TVs that are covered are the 55-inch (OLED55G1), 65-inch (OLED65G1) & 77-inch (OLED77G1) G1 Gallery Series, as well as the 8K flagship Z1 OLED in 77-inch (OLED77Z1) & 88-inch (OLED88Z1) screen sizes.
