Market intelligence firm Trendforce has published its 10 technology industry trends for 2021, and while Mini LED and QD-OLED have been earmarked as the two display technologies to mount a challenge to LG Display's WRGB OLED (also known as white OLED) next year, there's no mention of dual layer LCD tech at all:
