We used a proprietary luminance heatmap system (developed by our resident HDR game expert Adam Fairclough, a.k.a. @Evilboris online) to analyse the HDR presentation of the Star Wars Original Trilogy (A New Hope; The Empire Strikes Back; and Return of The Jedi) on the newly-launched Disney Plus streaming service, and think that it's not true HDR.
Comparisons include The Force Awakens and also Captain Marvel on Disney+ played on a 2019 LG OLED.
