Sony has launched its first Dolby Vision-ready 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray player in the shape of the UBP-X700 at CES 2018. It will also support HDR10 static metadata but not HDR10+ dynamic metadata format.
Dolby Vision support will be added to the X700 via a firmware update in the summer, but not to the X800.
