We compare Dolby Vision dynamic metadata vs HDR10 static metadata on two Sony XE93 LED LCD TVs which are capable of 1400-nit peak brightness on a 10% window after calibration to D65 white point. One TV has been updated with the Dolby Vision firmware using a USB stick, while the other is still running an older firmware that doesn't support Dolby Vision (DV).

Many thanks to Richer Sounds Manchester for supplying these TVs for this comparison. Please support them by considering buying your next TV from them... call 0333 900 0086 and mention HDTVTest.
