TCL has unveiled its highest-performing TV ever at CES 2019 consumer electronics trade show in Las Vegas, in the shape of the new Roku TV 8-Series. It will have 8K resolution, mini LED backlighting (marketed as Quantum Contrast or Q Contrast by the company), quantum dot colours, and HDMI 2.1 support.

The TCL 8-Series will go on sale in the USA sometime this year, with screen sizes of 75 inches and larger. European release remains unconfirmed.
