Vizio OLED TV & P-Series Quantum X Get Two 48Gbps HDMI 2.1 Ports

Vizio has officially launched its "2021" lineup of 4K TVs, including the US-based TV brand's first OLED TV, and the 3000-nit P-Series Quantum X full-array local dimming (FALD) direct-lit LED LCD TV with quantum dot colours.

Unique selling points include two full-bandwidth (48Gbps) HDMI 2.1 ports, multi-HDR support for both Dolby Vision & HDR10+, as well as extremely competitive pricing. Vizio continues to use the Smartcast platform, now version 4.0.

The Vizio OLED TV will be available in screen sizes of 55 and 65 inches, priced at $1300 and $2000 respectively. eARC will be supported on HDMI input 1; whereas the 48Gbps HDMI 2.1 ports will be HDMI 2 & 3.

The Vizio P-Series Quantum X (PQX) will come in 65-, 75- and 85-inch sizes, with a zone count of 384, 480 and 792; and prices of $1500, $2000 and $3000 respectively.

The Vizio OLED and P-Series Quantum X will be available from fall this year (2020).
