Panasonic has rolled out a new firmware update to add full-resolution 4K 120Hz with VRR on its JZ series of 2021 OLED TVs, as well as JX940 & above LED LCDs.

The firmware version is 3.124, making these Panasonics the first TVs with Mediatek HDMI 2.1 SoC we've tested that can resolve full 4K 120Hz resolution together with VRR, beating the Sony X900H (also marketed as the XH90 in the UK/EU) and the Philips 806.
