The LG G1 OLED TV features an OLED Evo panel which is capable of higher peak brightness than conventional OLEDs. We explain how the OLED panel supplier, LG Display, has achieved 20% higher OLED efficiency and peak brightness in 2021 using a combination of two methods:
1) The addition of a new green emitting layer, as described by Mr Bob O' Brien of DSCC (Display Supply Chain Consultants) in his interview with Mr Brian Berkeley on the Nanosys Inc. Youtube channel:

2) Substitution of hydrogen with deuterium (a.k.a. heavy hydrogen) in the blue OLED compound (change of supplier from Idemitsu Kosan to DuPont), as described by the CEO of UBI Research in an interview with The Elec:

The Sony A90J & the Panasonic JZ2000 OLED TVs with higher peak brightness may also be using this new OLED panel from LG Display.
