LG Cuts HDMI 2.1 Bandwidth on 2020 4K TVs Below 48Gbps. Does It Matter?

This week, LG revealed that the HDMI 2.1 bandwidth on the company's 2020 4K TVs including the CX and GX OLED is "only" 40Gbps instead of the 48Gbps implemented on last year's C9. Vincent and Adam discussed the real-world implications of this revelation, and also touched on DSC (Display Stream Compression) which is allowed for within the HDMI 2.1 specifications.
