We keep hearing people claiming that their OLED or QLED TV is already too bright, and that they'll need to wear sunglasses to watch HDR content. So we took some brightness measurements of random objects in real life, on a semi-sunny day in Manchester where it's not so bright that we felt compelled to wear sunglasses.
