We explain how to turn off noise reduction on the Sony PS5 4K Blu-ray player app, which is enabled by default, as well as changing a couple of other settings to obtain better sound quality (including Dolby Atmos or DTS:X) from 4K Blu-ray movies.
You'll need to press the [Options] button on your PS5 controller while the 4K Blu-ray player app is running.
The Sony PS5 4K Blu-ray player does not support 3D Blu-rays or Dolby Vision (which will be played back as HDR10 base layer).
