LG Clarifies QNED Mini LED TV Plans Following Trademark Application Setback

The USPTO has denied LG's "QNED" trademark application in the USA, according to Business Korea:

We reached out to LG for a statement, and here's the company's response:

"LG always has a brand name for our products and communicates it as LG "brand name", for example LG OLED.

QNED can still be communicated as the brand name since legally, there are no restrictions or limitations on using QNED for product communications even without a trademark."

So the company continue to use the "QNED Mini LED TV" branding for its 2021 flagship LED LCD televisions.
