LG has confirmed that the LG C9 won't be getting a firmware update to enable 4K@120Hz Dolby Vision gaming support (particularly with the Xbox Series X). Some C9 owners will understandably feel aggrieved, so we tested an LG C9 carrying the same firmware when the OLED TV was launched back in April 2019, and compared it with the latest public firmware to demonstrate how many features the South Korean brand has added since launch (30 months later).
