We've been able to upload our own pics to serve as playlist cover art, but today Spotify is launching something new. Now currently in beta, you can create your own custom cover art right inside the Spotify app. It very much looks and feels like something you might do in Instagram, TikTok or Snapchat. Only this is for your custom-built playlists.

You can start with your own photos, or create something from scratch, with a plethora of fonts and designs and stickers to really make things stand out. And that's probably the most important part of all this — you can make your playlists look different from all the other playlists out there.

And when you're done? You can unleash it on the world. Or just on your friends.
