LG 2018 OLED Firmware Update Fixes HDR Luminance Fluctuations

LG has rolled out a firmware update (version 04.10.15) to fix the HDR luminance fluctuation (delayed dimming/ brightening) issue seen on the company's 2018 OLED TVs with Alpha 9 chipset (C8, E8, G8 & W8).

In the UK, the firmware version is 04.10.20, which in addition to stabilising the HDR luminance, also adds HLG HDR playback for the Dynasties documentary series through the BBC iPlayer app on LG's 2018 OLED TVs, namely the B8, C8, E8 and W8.
