Sony has launched two key ranges of Bravia televisions at CES 2018, namely the AF8 (also marketed as the A8F in the USA) OLED TV & the XF90 (US-equivalent is X900F) LED LCD.

The Sony A1 & ZD9 will continue as the company's flagship OLED & LED LCD respectively in 2018.

The Sony AF8/ A8F has essentially identical specifications to the A1/ A1E, featuring Acoustic Surface technology & X1 Extreme processor. However, its design has been changed such that there's no more slant backwards.

The Sony XF90/ X900F is notable for a new X-Motion Clarity technology that combines backlight blinking with local contrast boosting to maintain brightness.
