To prevent burn-in on an OLED TV, we demonstrate how to change your Netflix subtitle settings, including using a smaller text size, a darker font colour, choosing the correct shadow and background colour, as well as making the subtitles semi-transparent which should reduce the intensity and brightness of the subtitles.

You have to change the subtitle settings using a PC or laptop, and then reload the Netflix app on your OLED TV for the changes to take effect.

As per Netflix's help page, the [Subtitle Appearance] option may not be available for certain languages which don't use Latin characters, for example Japanese, Arabic, Hebrew, Korean, Romanian, and Thai. Appearance options may also not show on some older devices.
