We spent a few hours testing and calibrating the Sony ZG9 Master Series 8K LED LCD TV, featuring the company's currently most advanced X1 Ultimate processor, Backlight Master Drive full-array local dimming (FALD), HDR support for HDR10, HLG and Dolby Vision formats, X-Wide Angle, X-Motion Clarity, as well as Acoustic Multi-Audio technology.

We were given the opportunity to review either the 85-inch Sony KD-85ZG9 (RRP £13,999) or the 98-inch KD-98ZG9 (£84,999), and chose to test the former.
