This killer theater and gaming room is situated in the basement of a modern home. The room has two adjacent televisions set up for gaming. We even have HDMI cables run to the table so that friends can bring over gaming consoles and PCs and immediately connect up to the system. The table us multiple chairs so you have numerous people playing and enjoying the gaming stations at the same time.

On the theater side of the room, Audio Advice paired up a 130 inch acoustically transparent screen with a 4K Sony 695 projector which is perfect for this room since it has no windows and can get completely dark. In terms of audio we used Golden Ear Signature Point Source speakers for the three fronts behind the screen and Golden Ear Invisa speakers for the ceilings and sides. These all feature ribbon tweeters which reproduce higher frequencies incredibly well. You’ll notice that we also have all four ceiling speakers angled to the primary seating position to maximize the atmos sound effects.

The customer wanted really great bass in this room so we used 2 JL Audio Fathom 13.5s in wall subwoofers to provide powerful but tight and accurate bass. Because we used an Anthem MRX-1120 as the surround sound receiver we were able to utilize Anthem Room Correction software to calibrate the sound in the room. This enabled us to take an odd shaped room where many of the seats are off center and really maximize the sound across all seats.
