Ahead of MWC 2024, Lenovo showed off a proof-of-concept piece of technology that was pretty mind-blowing, the ThinkBook Transparent Laptop. This thing has a completely transparent micro-LED 120Hz display that the company says can max out at 1,000 nits of brightness, allowing for elements on the screen to outshine the transparency. There's even a "world-facing" camera located on the back that Lenovo says could be used for AR applications. It's just a proof of concept, though, meaning it's not an official product that's coming out anytime soon. Still, it's an exciting piece of technology that Lenovo just proved can actually work.
