We review the LG Z9 88-inch 8K OLED TV at the South Korean brand's German office, because it is too large (and expensive) to be shipped to reviewers. It is the most future-proofed 8K TV available to buy on the market today, owing to true HDMI 2.1 chipset with 48Gbps bandwidth, and an 8K Upgrader box which adds additional 8K decoding capabilities from USB and streaming sources.

However, the price of the LG OLED88Z9 is €29,999, making it out of reach for most people, especially considering the lack of 8K video sources currently. US model number is LG OLED88Z9PUA.
