We review the Panasonic HZ1000 4K OLED TV which features the Japanese brand's HCX Pro Intelligent processor, Filmmaker Mode, Dolby Vision IQ, 120Hz black frame insertion, HDR support for HDR10, HLG, HDR10+ and Dolby Vision, as well as My Home Screen 5.0 Smart TV platform.

Topics covered include near-black handling, colour accuracy, motion performance, screen uniformity, video processing, HDR and input lag for gaming.

Our review sample is the 65-inch Panasonic TX-65HZ1000B which is the 3-pin-plug UK version, with a launch price of £2899. There is also a smaller 55-inch TX-55HZ1000B which retails at £1999.
