Setting up a modern Smart TV like the Sony Bravia 9 is generally straightforward. However, if your remote starts having issues or becomes unpaired, it can still work via infrared if it has a direct line of sight to the TV. For Bluetooth functionality, which allows for more flexible use and is necessary for features like voice commands, you'll need to pair the remote.

To do this, press the settings button on the remote, go to "All Settings," then "Remotes and Accessories," and select "Remote Control." Choose the Bluetooth pairing option and follow the on-screen instructions. Once paired, you can also use this menu to connect other Bluetooth devices such as headphones.
