Ahead of CES 2024, Dell has announced a sweeping change to its popular XPS lineup of laptops. The XPS 14 and XPS 16 have come to replace the XPS 15 and XPS 17, adopting not only new screen sizes but some controversial new design and feature choices as well. I got some hands-on time with these new laptops and was left both impressed and curious about some of the decisions. The XPS 13 Plus is also gone, but only in name. The new XPS 13 is nearly identical to last year's XPS 13 Plus, while last year's XPS 13 seems to have been dropped. That means a simpler lineup, but also one without a cheaper entry point.
